Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day is bittersweet for me. I LOVE being a Mother but I miss MY Mom. Last year our primary sang the sweetest song about Mothers. I cannot get through this song without crying. It has officially become one of my favorite songs. It totally sums up how I feel about my Mom. It is better with the music but I wanted to share the lyrics...

"Thank You For Being My Friend"
I have a friend who I can depend on; someone who really cares. I have a friend who's always around when nobody else is there. I have a Mom and so I am thankful each day at its end. I'm glad you're mine and so I will say, "Thank you for being my friend."
My Mother loves me and tries to show me things as they really are. When I am troubled answers from heaven never are very far. I have a Mom and so I am thankful each day at its end. I'm glad you're mine and so I will say, "Thank you for being my friend."

My Mom was my best friend. I only hope and pray I can be that kind of Mother to my children and siblings. I feel SO blessed to have these sweet kiddos in my life. I just wanted to thank all you fellow bloggers out there for inspiring me to be a better Mom! Happy Mother's Day!!

sweet post, Kar. Your mom was INCREDIBLE and loved her kids SO much!! You are the only person that can raise your siblings because you are the most like her.. and you are doing such a great job!! I love your sweet children and believe they are very lucky to have such a caring mom of their own!
