Martin Luther King Jr. Day

I finally had enough energy today to play out in the snow with the kids.

We had a few breakdowns.

Weston was happy after figuring out that eating the snow was WORTH having cold hands (he couldn't grab the snow with his gloves on).

Avaree was happy after a couple of good sledding runs down the hill.

I was happy to be out of the house! But don't look too close... me with no make up and a cold sore, Weston's poor excema, and we all need tans! The sun was out today at least.

Later that afternoon we headed to Bouncing off the Walls to celebrate Tori and Tate's birthday (tori and tate are the cute twins on the red chair). We are all going to sleep well tonight.

I love reading your blog! It doesn't replace talking to you, but I'm glad you keep it up. Although I don't keep mine up- sorry, you make me want to. Does that count for anything? Your sledding pictures are cute. You usually narrate your blog in my head, but I could really hear you bragging about Baylee and Grffin. Way to go Baylee and Griffin! It's so fun to hear about their talent. I can't believe Baylee's shiner! What a tough chick!

How much fun!!! The kids look like they really enjoyed themselves. I will never forget the first time we took Zion out in the snow. It's so good to hear and see that you have some energy back and feel better. But don't you love Mommy hood. Thank you so much for your last comment on my last post. I really appreciate it more than you know!

Where did you go sledding? Looks like fun. We just haven't played out in the snow much- well, I haven't anyway. I'm usually in with Aspen. Looks like a fun and busy day!

I feel so bad that I haven't taken Alec sledding yet this winter. Looks like you guys had a fun time.

Glad you are starting to feel better. I think the 2nd trimester is such a fun time of the prenancy.

These pictures are so awesome. Looks like you had a wonderful time. What is more funny about this is while you were playing in the snow we were swimming in 80 degree weather!

Hooray for baby #3! That's so exciting but crappy that you're sick. How do you do that with 4 other kids to take care of? And I love the bragging about Baylee and Griffin. I would be proud too :)
