Family Night Planting...

I just had to post these pictures because it was so cute and the kids took it so seriously.

Jason came home with a little green house to get our garden started early this year since we always get started late because it is cold and then it usually freezes again before we get to enjoy any of our crops so we'll see how this year turns out. Hopefully we can keep the deer away too.

Avaree is obsessed with seeds now and saved her apple and watermelon seeds this week and tried planting them on her own.

They were suppposed to water the plants but they both must have been thirsty after their hard work!

That's so cute! I think we'll give our garden another go this year. We haven't been very successful in years past, but every year we learn more and get a little better. We had one huge pumpkin last year and counted that as success. Plus, it's really fun for the kids.

So I have just read all of your past couple of posts and I am now caught up. We have been kind of crazy lately and I don't get to read blogs as much as I want to! So...You are having a BABY!!! That is FANTASTIC! And another cute boy...that is perfect. Now Weston can have a little buddy! Thank you for your post about Perspective. I feel the same way about life right now, and the post made me stop and realize what is really important! Thank you for reminding me. And finally...I am so glad you did your litte green house. Steven brought home one last Saturday, so our little fam put ours together as well. Cross your fingers we remember to actually water them while they are in the basement. Hey how about a play date next week? How is your schedule?

Shaundee... so funny you say that about watering your green house because ours is in the basement too and I keep forgetting to water it!
