My Boy

I got my camera back after a month at the manufacturers and oh how I missed it. I'm so glad I can capture these moments again...

I was blow drying my hair in my bathroom and came into my room to find Weston sitting in the laundry basket.

Then I found him in his car bin...

I've just got to say how much I LOVE this boy! He's been a tough 2 year old. I think it's mostly because he's HAD to stand up for himself because Avaree is so controlling (anyone who knows Avaree can attest to that) and he didn't want Lainey (our dog) near him in fear she would take his food. And let me tell you... this boy does NOT take crap from anyone but good for him! I think he's finally feeling like he is becoming his own person and he's happier and I'm loving it. He's sweet, he giggles when I put him to sleep (he is the BEST sleeper), he gives the best "smacks" (kisses), and his smiles make you melt!

I haven't even wanted to attempt potty training him until he is totally ready and yesterday he took off his diaper and went pee in the toilet all by himself out of no where!! I was so proud. He's not ready yet but at least we've made progress. In fact we've made HUGE progress. I've been very nervous to have another baby but the past few weeks I've finally felt like... okay, we CAN add another to our crazy krew!

I really wonder if it is possible for us to produce a calm, easy going child?? Probably not, Jason's genes are TOO strong. I keep reminding myself that it will be good to have strong willed children in the future.

He is such a handsome little guy. And you're right about him NEEDING a strong personality. He's gotta pull his own weight around that house. Another boy will be fun for him!

And about potty training, I didn't think Zack would do it at 2, but he was so easy. NOW is the time to train him. Keep his diaper off and keep encouraging him. Wouldn't it be wonderful to only have one in diapers? You can do it!

He sounds a lot like my Ty. Boys are the best.

Show us that pregnant belly! I can't even tell in all of these pictures of you.

Too cute!!! I know what you mean by having a tough 2 year old! At least you can sya he has need to be because of his sassy big sis! I don't have that excuse. The potty thing is killin' me! Zion is 3 and he refuses. He only goes when I am not looking but will not when I remind him every 15 min. Its the story of my life right at the moment! I hope you and bundle #3 are doing well, I get a little nervous every once in awhile, but Elijah has been so easy that I actually get excited even though this little guy will be born 2 weeks before he turns one.Yikes!!! Loved the Happy Mothers Day note from Griffin! Him and Baylee are so blessed to have you!

I just noticed how close to the end of your pregnancy you are now! Yahoo! It's so great when it finally ends and you get your reward (the cute little baby, of course). I hope the last few weeks go well for you.

He's so cute ;)
Do you think that you and the kids will be able to meet us at the zoo next Friday? (I can get one of you in for free)
