Lake Mead & Sand Hollow

We decided last minute to take our annual Lake Mead trip the weekend before school started. Summer seemed to pass us by with Jason working so much. It was the perfect way to end it with a bang! It was HOT and breezy. We found a nice shady spot to park the boat while we swam around, cliff jumped, explored, rafted, and ate lots of snacks!

some random donkeys hanging out in the heat.

franklin wasn't too sure of the water and life jacket at first but he ended up loving it. he would push the water with his left hand and turn himself in a full circle. it was dang cute.

josie and mari were visiting from southern cal.

On our way home, we decided to take another day and went to Sand Hollow in St. George. It was so nice. I think we were the only ones on the lake.

Baylee has improved a lot and Griffin got up this trip!
Next year will be his year now that he has the feel for it.
