Weston... My Big Boy!
My little boy is growing up. Weston has been the calmest baby. He probably didn't start sitting up until 8 months and finally at a year he started to scoot around on his bum. It was so cute and hilarious to see him scoot and he was content because he could get where he needed to go. (His Uncle John nick named him Scooter) He just started crawling and pulling himself up on things a couple of weeks ago and he is 14 months! I have to admit I worried a little bit, hoping that he would be normal but now I don't know why I worried. He is everywhere and into everything and he is fast. As quick as I turn around he is gone! I know he will be walking soon. He is the cutest little guy. It's been so fun to see his personality come alive. I love having a boy! Whenever I can't find Weston, he is in Avaree's room playing on this toy. He loves it and this boy has moves! He totally dances and bobs his head to anything. (it's actually a constant fight who gets to play with it)

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!
We are getting dumped on! It has been snowing like CRAZY! It is beautiful and sure feels like Christmas. All I have to say is, I am grateful for online shopping because that is the only way I'm getting any shopping done. We've also been enjoying all the classic Christmas movies. The Elf is my favorite!! Well, just thought I'd share a few pictures with you... (I'm trying to make all you California people jealous, ha!)

Breakfast with Santa
This morning we went to our ward Christmas Breakfast. We told Avaree we were going to see Santa for breakfast and she said, "I hope Santa brings me a doughnut. I'm hungry."

Decorating for Christmas
I was putting up garland when I heard Avaree say, "Mommy, look at me. I have long green hair!"
This year was the first year that I was ready to give up and get a fake Christmas tree. It just seems so much easier to put your tree up the day after Thanksgiving with the lights already on and know that it will look perfect, but Baylee would NOT let me give up on our tradition of getting a REAL tree together. So on Monday night we went and got a tree and got some hot cocoa after to warm us up. I have to admit, it is a fun tradition that I'm glad we didn't give up on. I just wish real trees wouldn't die so fast. They said to put a can of sprite and 3 advil in the water. We will see if that helps.

Happy Birthday Linda!
Today is Jason's Mom's birthday. We just want to quickly let her know how much we love and appreciate all she does for us. A few of our favorite things about her are... she is such a hard worker (I wonder where Jason gets that from), she is a colonel in the marine corps, she is an amazing cook, she is very fashionable (more than once people have mistaken her for Jason's wife!), she is very thoughtful and gives great gifts, and she is very unselfish. She will do anything for anyone. I know that Jason gets that from her too and I am very grateful for that because I needed an unselfish husband to take on all of my siblings. Linda currently lives in Southern California but Jason is building a home for her by us. We can't wait to have her close by again! Happy Birthday Linda, Mom, Grandmere. We love you!

Girls Night Out
After being snowed in for 2 days and Weston having a high fever all weekend, I had to get out! So on Saturday night, Baylee, Avaree, and I had a girls night while Jason and Griffin stayed home with sick Weston (and watched the BYU game). We just went to the mall, ate dinner, and shopped! It was just what I needed to stay sane. Baylee shoveling snow, she wasn't too happy about it so she wouldn't look at me and smile.
