our community pool finally opened this summer!! we went every possible afternoon we could. it was so convienent... just down the street, didn't cost money (other than homeowners), there was always a friend there, we knew the lifeguards, my kids could buy their own sno cones, etc. my kids LOVE the water. we'd go to swim lessons in the morning and then to the pool in the afternoon. It made for a GREAT summer!

arts & crafts in the park
Av & West took an arts & crafts in the park class. We went once a week during the summer. Weston didn't want to go the first week but quickly snapped out of it and looked forward to it . Avaree is my little artist. I knew she would enjoy it. I loved all their projects. I displayed their masks for Halloween.

swim lessons
My aunt has a swim school. She has taught lessons for over 30 years. I took lessons from her when I was little. I had Avaree and Weston take 2 sessions this year. They LOVED it. They love the water and improved a ton. It brought back a lot of memories. It's crazy they are learning the exact same way I did. Recognize Baylee? She has helped teach lessons for the past 3 summers. Avaree got to be in her class. Avaree's favorite stroke is the back stroke and she was swimming the length of the pool. Weston is swimming great too and had a hard time staying on the stairs when it wasn't his turn! Thanks Aunt Raylene, Keri, Natalie, and Baylee for being the best swim teachers around.
