No More Braces!

Does it get cuter than this?? I don't think so.

Thanks to Dr. Brown Orthodontics for doing Baylee and Griffin's braces. They look awesome. It's going to be weird not having to drive to Kaysville every couple months anymore. :)

Where's the luck?

I paid to have my windows washed and it poured rain the next day!

The luck was seeing the coolest rainbow I've ever seen... fully arched, huge, bright, double rainbow right out my backyard. I wish my camera could've captured the whole thing.

Aaah!

Over the weekend someone stole Jason's trailer FULL of tools... $40,000 worth of stuff! We just found out our tool coverage is only $2500. We are sick. It is our livelihood. We have a lead, a neighbor saw the car that towed it away but the police said they couldn't do anything about it. What do you do? Mind you, Jason has already caught 2 different people breaking into homes and stealing tools in the past couple months and he has a court date against the guy who was stealing from us last year. I hate crooks! We are due for some good luck...

Happy Father's Day!

I just wanted to wish Jason a Happy Father's Day! Jason is a "father figure" to so many people... He is the constant in his family and mine. He keeps everyone together. All of my siblings look to him as the father figure in their life, even my brothers who are close to him in age go to Jason when they need help or advise. His own siblings actually do the same. He also has a great crew of employees that he supports and helps all the time. He genuinely loves to serve and help others. I'm so grateful for his unselfish desires and hard work. My favorite quality of his lately is his honesty. I LOVE that he is a man of honor and his word. I'm glad he is my children's father.

Equipro Open House

We started the morning off with Jon and Hans from 1280 The Zone broadcasting live.

Zach Eastman, Hans, Jason, Jon, and Lori Rice.

In the afternoon KFAN was there broadcasting live. Craig Bolerjack filled in for David Locke.

Caleb Eastman, Jason, Craig Bolerjack, and Zach Eastman.

We also had Jack FM there broadcasting live. Hopefully the word is getting out!

The Carlos Boozer tennis ball toss made by Todd McBride was a hit! It was kind of hard and Weston got the ball through his mouth on his second try. I've got to add that I got the ball through before Jason too...

Avaree kept herself entertained by finding snails.

And insisted I take a picture of them.

Weston got to sit in the fastest car around!

All in all it turned out really good. Thanks to all those who came to support us. We'd appreciate any referrals you could send our way. We are keeping it small and personal to guarantee the best service possible. Now it's business time!

There's something about a rainbow.

I took this picture from my family room. We have had a rainy June. I haven't minded though because it's allowed me to get some stuff done since I'm "nesting" when normally I'd be anxious to get to the pool!

Last Weekend Wrap Up

I must be feeling the need to do as much as I can before this baby comes (or Jason is feeling the need) because last weekend we went non stop. We started with a trip to the zoo...

You can't go to the Hogle Zoo without a picture of you drinking out of a lion.

I LoVe the Zebras.

We met old friends from highschool. It was fun to catch up the best we could with all of our children in tow.

And we got rained on!
Avaree with the boys... Alec above and Jayben below.

Kids with some cats.

pretty peacock.

I'm glad Baylee came along even though it wasn't the funnest day for her.

Janessa, Melissa, Me, Steph, Dorothy, and Brooke (fellow bloggers)
We are at that stage in life... 4 out of the 6 of us are pregnant.

Later that night Jason and I went to see Land of the Lost. It was funny. You have to go to this movie expecting nothing but silliness. I don't think I'll be sitting through another movie in the theater for a while.

Saturday we met some cousins at the air show on Hill Air Force Base.

Jason grew up on Marine Corp Bases and LOVES air shows!

Those planes were going full speed as the passed each other.

It was crowded and we did a LOT of walking (I was afraid it was going to put me into labor) but it was worth it.
After the air show we went straight to meet up with more old friends for a bbq. I didn't get pictures but thanks for hosting and feeding us Cory and Katie!

Sunday we spent the afternoon as a family in the city of Vernon. I didn't know this little town existed but we packed some food, Jason and the kids hiked around, did a little fishing and we just enjoyed being outdoors.

Have I mentioned she is a tomboy?

Weston is happiest throwing rocks.

Now that's a cute fisherman.

and so is that one.

Except it's kind of hard to potty train in the wilderness...

Schools Out For Summer!!

Bennett, Avaree, and Maren became good little buddies after a year of carpooling for preschool together.

Colette chowing down on the good food.

When there are that many of us we can put together a good spread and look at all of the kids we produced...

We are looking forward to more fun Summer playdates!! Thanks for hosting Katherine.

Now that schools out... Baylee has already been to Lake Powell and a basketball camp, Griffin has been to EFY and I just sent them off this morning on a Pioneer Trek, where they have to dress and act like pioneers. They look so classic, especially Baylee. Too bad they are probably getting rained on as we speak and some kids from the group before them came home with the swine flu. They better not come back with that. Baylee has another basketball camp the following week and Griffin has scout camp! At least we are getting all the camps out of the way because I am going to need their help when this baby comes... which is soon!!

And the BIGGEST news of all is Jason is launching a new business! It couldn't be crazier timing with the baby and all but more details on that to come soon. Life really doesn't slow down does it? Not for us anyway! At least it's summer time my favorite time of the year!
