We decided to take a weekend off from boating to explore. We drove up through Rockport, into Kamas, ate lunch at the Gateway Grill, and then went up into the High Uintas to hike and play at some lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and EXPLORE! Utah is a beautiful state. I love Summer time!
This was actually steep. That was running water below them. It made me a little nervous.
I like this picture because the scenery is beautiful of course but look at the 3 children standing in a row in the background.
We ended the exploration with a stop at Cold Stone Creamery in Park City.

what a FUN day! love the pictures of you and jason especially.
My favourite is the picture of Baylee and Griffin standing in the middle of the rushing river.
We love the Uintas too! It's so fun, if you get a chance next time stop by Kamas' grocery store and get the Ranger Cookies. I know sounds weird, but they are so...good. We do that every year when we come home (they may sell the cookies everywhere who knows.) Last time I made them get some from the deep freeze, I just waited for them to thaw.
We are going to be in Utah July 22-August 4th, it'd be so fun to see you again! We'll be staying up in Midway...

Hurray on exploring! It is a lot of fun, and Utah has so much to offer. You guys look like you had a lot of fun. And Avery is cute as always. She is getting bigger. And yes, Melissa is prego with a little girl!!! Exciting!
Looks like you had the BEST day! I love summertime for trips like this too. That golden eagle is so cool! I love Weston's face in the Cold Stone picture.
Hey Party Animal! Fun! Especially the Gateway Grill. Can you tell I'm obese? FOOD MMMMM!!! I used to live right up the street from that place, and its seriously the best kept secret in wasatch county.
That picture of your family by the water looks like a cell phone ad. More bars in more places.
Dee... that is so funny you say that because Griffin said the same thing. In fact I forgot I was going to mention that. BTW...You used to live in Kamas??
Yup- I watch a LOT of TV, and eat a lot of ice cream, and I'm emotionally attached to many commercials...and Prison Break.
I lived in Francis (neighbors with Kamas)- it was paradise. It kicked daybreaks trash, but....ya know....once a sell out, always a sell out.
Great pics from Liberty Park- I'm glad you converted Brooke- I keep telling her what a blast it is- but she needed a COOLER referral- hee hee hee.
Party on!
