Supercross 2009

One advantage to having Erin Bates from the Speed Network and Andy Bell from Nitro Circus as your neighbors is you get free Supercross tickets!

Utah weather is crazy. One day it is Spring, the next it is Winter.

Park City and Prom

We spent the weekend on a much needed little getaway to Park City. We ate, shopped, relaxed, swam, and played games. My kids always love an adventure but are exhausted after.

Now that I'm the parent, I realize what madness all this dance stuff is but she had fun and she looked beautiful and so grown up!

Nathan is in our ward and a very nice boy. It's good to know that I could trust both of them! :)

Britney??

I love it when your friend calls you on a Tuesday afternoon after you've been cleaning all day to see if you want to go out for dinner and to the Britney Spears concert! Becky's hubby got free tickets at his work and she knew she couldn't take her daughters so Alison and I got the privilege of going.

Needless to say we didn't fit in the crowd. These were the girls in front of us.

The people watching was the best part for me. These 2 guys were my favorite. They would sing and dance to EVERY song!

The Pussycat Dolls opened for Britney and actually did good. She can really sing.

Britney on the other hand... I felt bad for her. It was entertaining and I'll confess I do like her music but the performance was so trashy. I couldn't help but wonder what this world is coming too and the things our children are going to have to face. It made me that much more grateful for my beliefs and for the gospel standards.

It was still a fun girls nights! Thanks Becky and Brent.

Easter

Easter weekend we attempted our neighborhood Easter egg hunt but the kids weren't able to do much hunting (the eggs were gone fast and notice the snow?). At least they got to see the Easter Bunny!

Weston wasn't sure what to think of our furry friend at first...

but he warmed up and wanted a picture too.

Off to meet Daddy for lunch. We stopped to get gas and lately anytime we stop Avaree has to get out of her seat. It's driving me crazy but she is so darn cute.

We found a bed of tulips! My fave.

After lunch the girls headed to the mall for Prom shopping.

Back home to color eggs!

Time for bed, so the Easter bunny can come.

Easter Sunday, we went to church,

came home for lunch and to find Easter baskets.

Then we ended the day at Grandmere and Grandudes with a yummy dinner (I didn't have to cook) and more celebrating.

Quick Update

I know I've been out of the blogging/internet world for a while. My computer got the "blue screen" virus and is still not working and my camera broke! I will probably loose everything on my computer. Fortunately I have pictures on my blog from the past year and I sent my camera back to the manufacturer. They were both brand NEW last Summer. Thanks to my father-in-law for letting me borrow his camera so I have some Easter pictures and other fun updates I'll post later. Can't wait to catch up with you all! However I've been so busy I don't know how I had time for blogging before...
