It has been one crazy day! First of all, yesterday was the craziest snow storm of the year. 64 kids were stranded at the elementary school and had to spend the night! Fortunately the Jr High kids got out an hour early and made it home safe. So school was cancelled today, my Mother-in-law came in town, I've been doing laundry like a mad woman to get ready for our trip, and we got another leak in our roof but I was determined to do something fun with Avaree for Valentine's, so we made sugar cookies and Valentine cards for everyone in our family. It was fun but ended up being a big mess! I'm so grateful I had Baylee and Griffin's help to clean it up. Jason and I have not had a chance to celebrate but I'm not worried because we have a whole week coming up.

so cute!! Every time I make something I tell myself I am going to wait a while until I do it again.. and somehow I forget about my vow. It feels good to let the kids help and make messes every once in a while, doesn't it?
Ha! Love the plumber's crack :) It's so fun to watch little kids discover food (and how to bake, and manipulate dough in their hands). Sugar Cookies are a favorite at our house!
I LOVE Avaree on top of the counter! Too cute!!!
How adorable. Looks like she had a wonderful time!
shes cute and looks a lot like you I think at least
Lucas thinks she's pretty cute. He has said so more than once now. He must have a little crush on her!
Sorry we didn't call you when we were in Utah! We didn't have a car there and I didn't want to ask you to drive all the way up to Park City from Utah County. I do want to see your place next time we're down that way.
That is adorable. Jayben would not do so good baking. He makes a big ball out of the dough and then eats it.
Karlin, hi! I was super excited to see your comments on my blog! Avaree is so dang cute! She is getting so big. Wow, time flies doesn't it? Well, I am close by as well so we should go to lunch (I know you are probably extremely busy though). I am glad to be back in touch, I hope your family is doing well...you are amazing! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers too. Take care!
